Everybody Loves The Sunshine
Roy Ayers was one of the most influential and prolific artists of the 20th century, and continues to influence even today. With his distinct use of the vibraphone and early synthesizers, his sound has been the template for many modern musicians spanning from the realms of jazz and soul to contemporary hip-hop and deep house. Here's some of that deep deep for ya with el Pépé's remix of I Am Your Mind Part II and Be's rework of Searchin'. Enjoy

Here We Go
Hello there.
I'm starting this project with two basic goals in mind. First things first: I love music. I mean who doesn't these days really? Music is a major staple of our current culture and generation and rightfully so in my opinion. I tend to think that I'm relatively selective about my music, but I can appreciate all sorts as long as it's truly good. That's a bit of a subjective term, but whatever. This blog is dedicated to the love of music most of all. The second little goal of mine is to put up some thoughts out there and maybe get some responses. By thoughts I don't mean like "oh what should I wear today???" or some kinda nonsense like that, but some true mental dilemmas like what is good? I don't know if it's as complicated to you as it is to me, but it deserves a solid explanation in my mind.
Anyway about the music thing. I don't have any music for this post, but there will be some to come very soon. This blog isn't about posting new music per se, more about posting classic shit. And who decides whether that shit is classic or not will be none other than yours truly. Maybe charlie every once in a while too, but I don't trust his tastes sometimes and I'm a selfish guy.
talk to you soon
